Good insight Richard….. for sure HTTP is more reliable than tfpt..
This is great for implementations which does not have Netscaler TFTP Load balancing for long it’s been a struggle specifically small scale environments.
Its also good for MultiTenanting environment which requires TFPT firewall port opening across multiple VLAN’s or isolate networks ..now all you need is nothing more than http port
This might also opens up new opportunity like Streaming OS over the web, just to think about it bundling this up with Cloudbridge caching the image .. Wow for branch hypervisors… !!!
BTW — I remember reading somewhere BDM is not recommended for Production use but preferred for staging, development atleast thats the thumbrule i have heard.
